Two fights have been officially added to the UFC 201 card on July 30 in Atlanta as Siyar Bahadurzada meets Claudio Silva in a welterweight bout and in a lightweight bout, Damien Brown will face Cesar Arzamendia.
Both fight bookings were announced by the UFC on Friday.
UFC 201 will come from the Phillips Arena and is expected to be headlined by a title fight as Robbie Lawler is targeted to defend the welterweight title against Tyron Woodley.
Bahadurzada (22-6-1) returned to competition in March after being away over two years and snapped a two fight losing streak against Brandon Thatch with a decision victory at UFC 196. He is 2-2 in the UFC and the other win came in his promotional debut against Paulo Thiago in 2012. Silva (11-1) is currently on an eleven fight winning streak and two of those wins have come in the UFC. His last fight came at UFC Fight Night 56 against Leon Edwards and he won that fight by split decision.
Brown (15-9) made his UFC debut on short notice in March and lost a decision against Alan Patrick. The defeat snapped a five fight winning streak and ten of his fifteen wins have come by finish. Arzamendia (7-2) was a semifinalist during The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 2 lightweight tournament and lost his official UFC debut against Marco Polo Reyes at UFC Fight Night 78. This will be his first fight since that defeat and four of his seven wins have come by submission.
