Ratings Report: Episode 11 of TUF 23 draws 447k viewers in preliminary ratings

The eleventh episode of The Ultimate Fighter 23 premiered last night on FS1 and the show featured Amanda Cooper advancing to the final of the strawweight tournament with a stoppage victory against Lanchana Green.

According to Nielson sources, the show drew 447,000 viewers in the preliminary ratings (Live+SD) and this is the most watched episode in the preliminary ratings since the season debut.

The viewership from this episode is up 3 percent versus Episode 11 of last spring’s season (433,000) and up 22 percent compared to Episode 11 of the spring’14 season (366,000). Among the Adult 18-49 demographic, it was up 9 percent over the corresponding episode last spring (261,000) and 18 percent over the corresponding episode in 2014 (241,000).

Following the premiere of Episode 11 of The Ultimate Fighter 23, TUF Talk had its second best outing to date on viewership (172,000, just 1,000 viewers behind the season-best 173,000 on April 20 and its best performance among A18-49 (106,000).

When it came to the sports competition on cable, the night was won Sharks vs. Dolphins on Discovery Channel (10 p.m ET) with 2.099 million viewers. Other top shows on cable included Deadliest Sharks (2.096 million, Discovery), Greenleaf (1.882 million, Oprah Winfrey Network) and Shark After Dark (1.165 million, Discover).

The +3 DVR viewership for Wednesday night’s episode on The Ultimate Fighter 23 will be released by Nielson on Tuesday and the complete ratings history for The Ultimate Fighter 23 is below.
