The main event of next week’s Shamrock 275 in St. Louis will see the return of welterweight Mike Brazzle as he will meet Aaron Highfill in the fight card coming from the River City Casino.
Brazzle (3-1) will be stepping back into competition for the first time in four years as his last fight took place on July 28, 2012 and we recently talked to The MMA Report about why he decided to come back now after being away from competition for the last four years.
“I’ve always had the itch. It never went away. I always wanted to,” Brazzle told The MMA Report. “Things just kind of fell apart for the last couple of years. I went through some serious stuff and I am falling back on what I know. What I am comfortable with. Fighting has always been something that has got me through tough times. Something I have always come back to and also, I need the cash. I spent last eight years developing this skill, it’s time to put it to work.”
