A lightweight bout has been booked for October’s UFC Fight Night 97 in the Philippines as Jon Tuck will meet Mehdi Baghdad.
The fight booking was recently announced by the UFC.
UFC Fight Night 97 will come from the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines on October 15 and will be headlined by a featherweight bout as Ricardo Lamas meets B.J. Penn.
Tuck (9-3) is coming off a split decision defeat in May at UFC Fight Night 87 against Josh Emmett. He is 3-3 in the UFC and all of his defeats in the promotion have come by decision. Baghdad (11-5) has dropped both of his fights in the UFC and is coming off a split decision lost against John Makdessi at UFC Fight Night 90. Prior to entering the UFC, all of his wins came by stoppage and eight of them came by TKO/KO.
