CES MMA will be returning to the Foxwoods Casino and Resort in Mashantucket, Connecticut later this month and the promotion has revealed that the previously announced bout between Pete Rogers Jr. and Derek Shorey will be the featured bout of the preliminary card.
Along with announcing that Rogers Jr. vs. Shorey as featured preliminary bout, the promotion announced on Thursday that Matt Maldonado vs. Kris Moutinho, Quinten Gaskins vs. Richie Santiago and Connor Barry vs. Wayne Ahlqhuist have been added to the unaired preliminary card.
“We’re always searching for new talent to showcase on AXS TV,” stated CES MMA Matchmaker Pat Sullivan. “There are limited TV slots, of course. But an impressive win on the prelim card is the way to earn one of the slots. Get there early to witness these future stars. The prelims are often some of the most exciting fights of the night. These guys enter the cage with one goal in mind — finish in impressive fashion — because they all want to move up that ladder.”
