The co-main event of tomorrow’s Shamrock FC 275 will be a bantamweight bout as Trevor Ward will look to snap a two fight losing streak when he meets Erion Zekthi on the fight card coming from the River City Casino in St. Louis.
Ward (4-3) is coming off a lost in December against Kendrick Latchman at Shamrock FC: Ultimate and he will be looking for his first win since May of last year when he meets Zekthi tomorrow night.
Since his last fight, Ward has made a major change in his training as he has moved to New Mexico and is now training with Jackson-Wink MMA Academy. He explained his decision to move to Jackson-Wink MMA Academy to The MMA Report and admitted that this is actually his first training team.
“It’s been good. The first three or four months since that fight, I have done a lot of weight training and actually moved down to Jackson-Wink MMA,” Ward stated. “I have been going hard training wise now. It’s been the best camp since I turned pro. I never had a team. I finally have a team and it’s one of the best in the world. I am ready to go.”
