A key matchup in the Bellator featherweight division will take place on Saturday night at Bellator 170 as Georgi Karakhanyan will look for his third straight victory when he meets Emmanuel Sanchez on the fight card coming from The Forum in Englewood, California.
Karakhanyan (26-6-1) returned to Bellator in the beginning of 2015 and has won three of his five fights since returning to the promotion. All of his recent victories in Bellator have come by stoppage in the first round and he enters this fight following a TKO victory against Kirill Medvedovsky at Bellator 164 in November.
During last week’s episode of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Karakhanyan was a guest on the podcast to preview his fight on Saturday against Sanchez at Bellator 170 and explained that he is still looking to move up to the lightweight division before the end of 2017.
