LFA 44 took place on Friday night inside the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona and the fight card was headlined by a welterweight bout as Matthew Frincu scored a decision victory over Christian Aguilera.
The victory by Frincu (13-3) marks his second straight victory since losing to Curtis Millender at LFA 24 last year and his previous win came at LFA 31 against Roman Alcantar. For Aguilara (11-5), the defeat snaps a three fight winning streak and he’s 4-2 in his last six fights.
