A lightweight bout has been added to UFC 176 on August 2nd in Los Angeles as former title challenger Gray Maynard will face submission specialist Fabricio Camoes.
The fight booking was announced by UFC officials early this morning.
UFC 176 will come from the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be headlined by Jose Aldo defending the UFC featherweight title against Chad Mendes.
Maynard (11-3-1, 1NC) has only scored one win in his last five fights (1-3-1) in the UFC and the lone victory came against Clay Guida in 2012. He is currently on a two fight losing streak and his last defeat came in November against Nate Diaz.
Camoes (14-8) is currently in his second stint with the UFC and has lost his last two fights in the organization. His most recent defeat came at the end of 2013 at UFC 68 as he was submitted by Jim Miller in the first round.
