The UFC announced last week that Ronda Rousey would be headlining UFC 157 on February 23rd in Anaheim against Liz Carmouche and the organization has announced that tickets will go on sale next week.
Along with announcing that tickets going on sale, the UFC also announced that the co-main event for the fight card will be Dan Henderson taking on Lyoto Machida.
“Ronda is the real deal,” UFC President Dana White said. “She’s nasty. She’s mean. She’s like Chuck Liddell. She goes out there and tries to finish her opponents. And Carmouche is tough as nails, too. She was a Marine and she’s got great ground-and-pound. I look forward to having the women join the UFC.”
The UFC has previously announced that former WEC featherweight champion and California resident Urijah Faber will be on the main card on pay-per-view when he takes on Ivan Menjivar.
