Bellator 156 took place on Friday night at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California and the event was headlined by Eduardo Dantas becoming a two-time Bellator bantamweight champion as he defeated Marcos Galvao by unanimous decision.
According to Nielson sources, Bellator 156’s preliminary live average viewership landed at 482,000 viewers and the average viewership for Bellator in 2016 in the preliminary ratings is 786,000.
When it came to the sports competition on Friday night, the night was won by Part 4 of the OJ Simpson documentary on ESPN with 1.436 million viewers. Other top sports programs on Friday included US Open on FS1 (999,000), Copa America on Univision (901,000) and FS1 (734,000).
