The UFC recently signed Jason Novelli to a multi-fight contract and he will make his promotional debut on August 6 in Salt Lake City, Utah as he will meet Ultimate Fighter 22 alum David Teymur.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Friday morning.
UFC Fight Night 92 will come from the Vivint Smart Home Arena on August 6 and will be headlined by a featherweight bout as Ultimate Fighter Latin America winner Yair Rodriguez will meet Ultimate Fighter 12 alum Alex Caceres.
Novelli (11-1-1) enters the UFC following a split draw against Yosdenis Cedeno at Titan FC 38 in April. He is unbeaten in his last five fights and nine of his eleven victories have come by stoppage. Teymur (4-1) won his official UFC debut in February as he defeated Martin Svensson at UFC Fight Night 84. He has won four in a row since losing his pro debut in 2013 and his last three wins have come by TKO.
