A matchup of light heavyweights has been added to the UFC card coming to Brazil on May 14 as Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will meet Patrick Cummins.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Tuesday.
The venue for the UFC event on May 14 in Brazil has not been announced by the promotion at this time and it has been rumored this event will serve as UFC 198.
Nogueira (21-7) has dropped back to back fights and his last win came in 2013 against former UFC champion Rashad Evans. His most recent defeat came in August as he lost a decision against Mauricio “Shogun” Rua. Cummins (8-3) will also enter this fight following a defeat as he lost to Glover Teixeira in November. This will be his third straight fight to take place in Brazil and he is 4-3 in the UFC.
