Bellator 155: Dan Charles believes he is just hitting his stride in Bellator

Heavyweight Dan Charles will be looking to put together back to back victories tonight in Boise, Idaho at Bellator 155 as he will be facing undefeated Brazilian Augusto Sakai on the main card broadcast on Spike.

Charles (10-3) initially made his debut in Bellator in 2013 and was defeated by Mighty Mo at Bellator 100. Since coming back to the promotion at Bellator 126 in the fall of 2014, he has won three of his last four fights and is coming off a knockout win against Chase Gormley at Bellator 143.

During Tuesday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Charles was a guest on the show to preview his fight tonight against Sakai. Along with previewing his fight, he talked about his run in Bellator to this point and stated that he believes that he is hitting his stride in the promotion right now.

“Progressively getting better. Obviously, like everything in life, went through a couple of step backs and speed bumps,” Charles said. “But as far as a collective run, I think I am just now hitting my stride and overall, a lot more positive than negative for sure.”
