The fourth episode of The Ultimate Fighter 23 premiered last night on FS1 and the show featured Andrew Sanchez moving into the semifinals of the light heavyweight tournament with a decision victory over Myron Dennis.
According to Nielson sources, the show drew 336,000 viewers in the preliminary ratings (Live+SD) and this is down nearly 19 percent from last weeks viewership of 414,000 viewers in the preliminary ratings. In comparison to episode 4 of last spring’s season of the UFC reality show, Wednesday’s episode is up 17 percent from episode 4 of The Ultimate Fighter 21 (286,000).
When it came to the sports competition on cable, the night was won by the late NBA playoff game between the Portland TrailBlazers and the Golden State Warriors on TNT. That game drew 6.251 million viewers and the early NBA playoff game between the Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat drew 4.002 million.
The +3 DVR viewership for Wednesday night’s episode on The Ultimate Fighter 23 will be released by Nielson on Tuesday and in the third episode, the viewership went up 55 percent from the preliminary ratings (Live+SD) to the +3 DVR number.
