After the way the first fight ended, Ryan Sanders views rematch with Luis Felix as unfinished business

The main event of Friday’s CES MMA 36 in Rhode Island will be a rematch as Ryan Sanders looks to become the CES MMA lightweight champion when he challenges Luiz Felix for the 155 pound title on the fight card coming from the Twin River Casino.

The first meeting between Sanders and Felix came in January when Sanders stepped up on short notice to face Felix in a non-title fight. Sanders would end up scoring a submission victory in the second round due to injury and it was the third straight win for Sanders. With how the first fight ended, does he view this fight as unfinished business?

“We were just both warming up. Just getting our toes wet with each other and then the injury,” Sanders said on The MMA Report Podcast. “This fight is like the entree. It’s definitely unfinished business and I think we both want to see how we are able to adjust having already going with each other but now having eight weeks to prepare for each other.”
