Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt set for co-main event of UFC 200

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar will be returning to the UFC octagon next month and he will meet Mark Hunt in the co-main event of UFC 200.

The fight booking was announced by Lesnar this morning on ESPN.

UFC 200 will come from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 9 and the event will be headlined by a title unification bout as light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier meets interim light heavyweight champion Jon Jones in a rematch of their initial meeting at UFC 182.

Lesnar (5-3) will be stepping into the octagon for the first time since the end of 2011, which was a lost against Alistair Overeem at UFC 141. He enters this fight with back to back defeats and he has a record of 4-3 in the UFC. Hunt (12-10-1) has won back to back fights and is coming off a knockout victory against Frank Mir. He is 3-2-1 in his last six fights and all of those victories have come by TKO/KO.
