Bellator 159 took place on Friday night at the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas and was headlined by Joe Taimanglo scoring one of the biggest upsets in Bellator history as he defeated Darrion Caldwell by submission.
According to Nielson sources, Bellator 159’s preliminary average viewership landed at 668,000 viewers and the average viewership for Bellator in 2016 in the preliminary ratings is 741,500.
When it came to the competition on cable, the night was won by Alaskan Bush People on Discovery Channel with 2.139 million viewers. Other top programs on cable included Elena of Avalor (Disney Channel), Girl Meets World (Disney Channel) and Rap Game (Lifetime Television).
