Bellator 174 took place this past Friday night at the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma and was headlined by Julia Budd winning the inaugural Bellator women’s featherweight title with a stoppage victory against Marloes Coenen in the fourth round.
When it comes to the television ratings for the fight card, it was revealed on Monday by Nielson that the main card on Spike delivered 686,000 viewers and Spike TV announced on Wednesday that the fight card came in with 755,000 viewers in the +3 DVR ratings. Along with announcing the average viewership, Spike confirmed that the peak viewership of the broadcast came during the main event with 1.1 million viewers.
Bellator will return to Spike TV on March 31 for Bellator 175 and the event will be headlined by a rematch as Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will meet Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal in a heavyweight bout on the fight card coming from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
