The vacant Titan FC lightweight title will be on the line next month in South Florida as Gesias “JZ” Cavalcante will meet Pat Healy at Titan FC 39.
The fight booking was announced by the promotion during last night’s Titan FC 38 broadcast on UFC Fight Pass.
Cavalcante (19-8-1, 2NC) has alternated wins and losses in his last five fights and he is coming off a win against Gele Qing in 2014. Fourteen of his career wins have come by stoppage and eight of those wins have come by submission. Healy (33-21, 1NC) will also enter this fight following a victory as he defeated Muhsin Corbbrey by decision at Titan FC 37 in March. He has won three of his four fights in Titan and is 4-1 since exiting the UFC.
Titan FC 39 will come from the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Florida on June 10 and more information on the event will be released by the promotion shortly.
