Paul Bradley will fight outside the United States for the first time in his career next Friday at M-1 Challenge 75 as he will meet former Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko on the fight card coming from the Olympic Sports Complex in Moscow, Russia.

Bradley (23-7, 2NC) is coming off a split decision defeat against Yushin Okami and WSOF 34 in December and the WSOF gave permission to Bradley to take this fight.

On this episode of “The MMA Report Podcast Extra,” Bradley talks about the experience of fighting for the WSOF in New York City on New Year’s Eve and his fight next week against Shlemenko at M-1 Challenge 75.

I really wish Bellator would have kept him. But after getting that big win over Chris Honeycutt, the only fights that would have made sense would have been against MVP, Paul Daley, or Fernando Gonzalez. And Bellator was not about to put either MVP or Paul Daley in with a wrestler. Fernando Gonzalez vs Paul Bradley would have been a good scrap. I actually thought Paul Bradley won against Okami.

If Bellator wanted to keep Bradley (they never made him an offer), Bradley vs. Fernando Gonzalez would have been the fight to make. I totally agree about what you wrote (Bellator was not going to book Bradley against Page or Daley).
